Experience Glasnevin will be hosting a free children's art workshop to celebrate National Drawing Day 2023.
Parents are welcome to accompany their children if they wish, however, we can provide a map of the artists of Glasnevin for those who would prefer to wander the cemetery while the workshop takes place.
This workshop will last around 45 minutes to one hour, and is intended for children between the ages 8 to 12.
This workshop will include a short interactive slideshow of works by artists buried at Glasnevin Cemetery followed by some themed art and craft activities. This is the perfect opportunity for your children to gain an understanding of the links between Glasnevin Cemetery and famous artists' contributions to Irish history, while also participating in a fun filled and supportive arts and crafts session.
