The Dublin Cemeteries Trust Archive is responsible for and holds the extant records of the Trust produced over the almost two hundred years of its existence. This unique collection has been produced as part of its administrative processes and work maintaining, managing and developing the cemeteries its care.
The largest and most comprehensive collection we hold is our series of burial registers. The information contained within the burial registers varies depending on the period in which they were produced. They will always record the name of the person interred, their address, age, date of burial and grave number. They may also hold information such as date of death, cause of death and place of death. These registers have been digitised and are available to search online.
