Ever since we carried out our first interment in 1828 the staff of the Dublin Cemeteries Trust have faithfully recorded and preserved the details of all those buried in our cemeteries. For some these records are the only remaining tangible piece of evidence of a life lived.
These burial registers have been preserved, digitised and transcribed to allow people from all over the world to carry out their own research. It is an exceptional resource for those seeking to trace their ancestry or hoping to discover more about life and death in Ireland over the past two centuries.
