Fundraising
Dublin Cemeteries Trust raises funds from a range of sources, primarily earned income but also including government grants. Donor support is crucial to our maintenance and development capacity. Income generated from fundraising is used for a variety of projects including:
- Maintaining our group of cemeteries to the standards expected by our visitors,
- Renovation of old graves and headstones,
- Restoration of old structures such as the steps of O'Connell Tower
- Development of education and outreach facilities and materials
- Preservation and archival services
